I have worked as a professional writer/editor and as a private investigator, as well as other jobs too tedious or weird to mention here. I've done everything from planting trees to managing a multimedia team in a big software corporation. And then there are a lot of things I've done that I cannot talk about--being a PI means taking an oath of secrecy.

Southeastern Kansas is my birthplace. While I miss fresh-from-the-farm tomatoes and peaches, country dances, and my wonderful relatives, I now call the beautiful Pacific Northwest home.
